MultiBlog 1.99 Alpha
For those who want to help in the development of MultiBlog 2.0, here is a version you can start playing with.
It is not feature complete. In fact, parts of it will probably work incorrectly. The security controls are not completely implemented. Any security settings available in the system plugin settings are completely ignored currently.
To install, first completely remove any existing version of MultiBlog (plugins/multiblog.pl, multiblog-config.cgi, and extlib/rayners/MultiBlog*.pm). Then grab one of the development version archives from the MultiBlog page and unpack it into the main MT directory. It should stuff all of its files into plugins/MultiBlog/.
The rebuild control and configuration template are the big things to be tested right now. They are completely revamped from the previous version of MultiBlog. Your current rebuild settings will not be imported; I will implement that in a future release of folks really need it. And when I get a chance, I will document the template tag changes I have made. The category and entry transfer functionality is currently broken. Do not use them. I have not tested them since I changed the target version of MT to 3.2.
This is still a development release of MultiBlog. While I have done some rudimentary testing on my own installs, I cannot promise that this software will not accidentally delete your entire site and smack you around a little. But, if you are willing to live on the edge a little bit and let me know what is or isn't working for you (as well as what you think MultiBlog should be doing), I would greatly appreciate it.
(Note: if at all possible, I would prefer to have the discussion about the development releases take place in the support forum I set aside specifically for them)

This is a wonderful plugin, I've come to rely on it and really like what I'm able to do on my blog with it. I'm looking forward to what comes in 2.0!
Any chance we can sort by fields other than the default blog_id with the MTMultiBlog tag? It would be nice to sort blogs by name.

What's the deal with the following error when rebuilding with MT 2.661?
Can't call method "getconfigvalue" on an undefined value at extlib/rayners/MultiBlog.pm line 38.
I see this error is very common, I really need this plugin to work. Any ideas?
Thank you for your time.
