Call for MultiBlog Beta Testers

Want to sign up to beta test the latest and greatest MultiBlog? For starters, subscribe to the mailing list I have setup by sending an email to minimalist AT plugins.rayners.org with the subject "subscribe multiblog-beta-testers" and following the instructions that are returned. Once we've got enough people signed up for the list, I will send out further instructions there.

Ideally, I would like to find at least a couple folks who will be able to help me test the dynamic publishing portions of it when I get that going (it's not in there yet).

Things are about to get very exciting, I think.

Update: It seems like some folks are having problems with the address I gave to subscribe to the list. For the time being, you can also sign up at minimalist AT rayners.org until I figure out what is going on. If anybody has had problems signing up with the original address, I would appreciate it if you could forward me (to rayners AT rayners.org) the responses you got so I can see what the exact problem is. Thanks!

Update (again): I think I may have it fixed. Looks like it was a configuration issue that some, but not all, emails ran into depending on how the subscription request email was sent by other servers. Anyways, it appears to be working now.

Just so you know, the email addy minimalist AT plugins.rayners.org didn't work for me. I removed the "plugins.", and I was then able to subscribe.

Hi David,
I'd like to sign up for beta testing MultiBlog 2.0. The original is great and I'd like to try 2.0 as well. BTW, your documentation links seems to be down, any place else I can get that info?
Thanks

Hi David,

I found this site and a download link for the v1.1.1 plugin with a bit of searching (the one listed on MT plugins directory is not valid). However, I still can't find access to installation instructions and documentation. Can you please direct me to where those would be?

Thanks,

Hi - I'd be up for testing it.

I signed up, but I am wondering if the beta you are working on would fit my needs. I am going to paste my request on the support forums below:

I have a blog setup at abcd.com that covers subjects A, B, C, and D......

I have created seperate blogs called A.com B.com C.com and D.com

These are all on the same installation and same dedicated server.

When one of my authors posts something about Subject B, I want it to post to both abcd.com and b.com. Is this possible? I am invisioning a check box in the posting screen that my authors can check to say it needs to go to both blogs.

I have installed multiblog, but unless I am totally screwed up, I am not sure it will do what I am asking above.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I use your multiblog on my non-profit environmental conservation sites. Basically I blog on climate at http://www.climateark.org/blog/ and forests at http://forests.org/blog/ and rainforests at http://www.rainforestportal.org/issues/ and then aggregate these all together at http://www.ecoearth.info/blog/ . There is a very useful tag that I wanted to know if you had considered doing, and if not what it would cost to do it for my non-profit organization. I would like to be able to include only one category of on blog in the multiblog. Is that currently possible? Could you please email me? I have tried like crazy to find another contact method for you. I would be willing to test 2.0 if it included this tag. Please email me and you can delete this comment then. Thank you and warm regards. Dr. Glen Barry
