The last available service available for feed creation has been integrated: SmartCast. So, if you want to create a FeedBurner feed directly through the Movable Type interface, give the FeedBurner plugin a try!
Download an archive, unpack it in your main Movable Type directory, and enjoy.
Can I see the statistics without creation of a new feed?
do you have any install instructions? I just unpacked the whoel folder in my "plugins" folder and, while it shows up in my plug in directory, it doesn't work.
Any help is appreciated!
Hi Rayners,
I've install your plugin, but how does it works ?
How do we set ip up so as to consider our feedburner account ?
I'll try to explain : the set up of the plugin is ok, but I've no settings menu in your plugin place, nothing to enter my feedburner feed. How could I mention it ?
If I really have a feedburner syndication improvment thanks to your plugin, I'd be pleased to contribute to your project by giving you a litttle money...
Thx in advance !
Hi David,
I was trying your Feedburner plugin 1.0RC1
http://www.rayners.org/plugins/feedburner/
on a MT3.3 fresh install (linux apache2 mod_rewrite AllowOverride) in a
test environment.
The .htaccess FB rule writing deletes the MovableType generated rules
and writes no appropriate IfModule tags.
Resetting to default the plugin does not clear the FB rules.
FB rules are copied over the Publishing Setings (MT generated).
MT generated rules are lost forever.
I had backups and was able to concoct a working .htaccess based on MT
and FB rules, but:
I would recommend users not to try your plugin with MT3.3 and to make
backups (specially of .htaccess) before tinkering with it.
Let me know your opinion and when you have an update for the plugin.
