ParentCategoryRebuild 2.0

Here is a version of ParentCategoryRebuild built for Movable Type 3.2. You now have the option to turn on or off the parent category rebuilding behavior on a blog by blog basis (it defaults to off).

So hop on over to the plugin page, grab the latest version and unpack it into your main MT directory.

Enjoy!

(Update: Couple oopses. Go grab 2.0.2 if you got 2.0)

Thank God! I really wasn't looking forward to cracking that plugin open to find out why it was failing. Thanks :-)

Plugin error: /home/movalog/public_html/cgi-bin/mt/plugins/ParentCategoryRebuild/parent_rebuild.pl syntax error at /home/movalog/public_html/cgi-bin/mt/plugins/ParentCategoryRebuild/parent_rebuild.pl line 56, near "->->publisher"

Excellent stuff. Well done that man. Jolly good show. Pip Pip.

This is great for categories that contain no entries, but have a list of sub-categories, such as this:

One request though: It should also rebuild the parents whenever the category archives are rebuilt, not just when an entry is saved. Perhaps as an option in the settings for those folks that need it.

For some reason, this plugin has now stopped working for me. It appears in the interface, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas?
