New MultiBlog Feature: Category Transfer

I just finished testing out a new feature planned for MultiBlog 2.0: category transfers. From the edit category page, you can simply click on a link down at the bottom, then select a destination blog and send that category over to it, entries, trackbacks, comments, and all.

I will be working this into a new development release in a day or two. And that is not all coming soon for MultiBlog.

Hey, that's a great info. it will bring a lot of flexibility to all mt-user. Thanks.

David, I tried copying a category but no entries were moved with it. All of the entries in that category were assigned to it as "multiple category" not "parent category". Perhaps in cases where entries are in multiple categories, you should make a copy of it in the destination blog but not delete it from the source blog? (just delete the category assignment)
