Development Releases of MultiBlog Available Soon

If for no other reason than to make sure that it gets more thoroughly tested then just running it on my site, I am going to be releasing development versions of MultiBlog in the not too distant future. Remember that these releases will be development versions, not even finished enough to call beta; at best they may just not work, and at worst they may detonate the server hosting your site.

I was thinking about charging something small for access to the development releases, or maybe I will just send the info along to anybody that donates. I suppose I could just let them loose for anybody willing to take the risks, but I could certainly use the money too. Any thoughts?

Hi David,
I'm happy to pay a small fee for the plugins I use; why don't you start charging for the plugin? Or make an honor system request for a donation (like in the old days of 6A)? I would recommend $10 for personal use. Don't know about commercial use. I wouldn't pay for a development version, or beta version, of anything, especially if I would be doing work to help contribute to the development of it. But that's just me. And given that I'm non-technical, I avoid the non-release versions anyway.

I am trying to install this, but not sure where all the files go, and can't seem to find documentation on it.

At least charging for support (like Geek obviously needs) seems reasonable.

Charging folks money to give you feedback on your development is less attractive.
