MTBlogShares v0.6

It's baaack. :)

I have finally brought the plugin in line with the new version of the site (mostly just updating a few of the regular expressions). I will be adding new features soon, but this version will work well enough for now.

Here is the summary of the tag changes:

  • Removed MTBlogSharesTotalBonds
  • Removed MTBlogSharesTotalProjected
  • Removed MTBlogSharesTotalReal (long ago replaced by MTBlogSharesWorth)
  • Added MTBlogSharesCashBalance for total cash balance
  • Added MTBlogSharesTotalMarket for total market orders
  • Added MTBlogSharesTotalIdeas for total ideas commodities

Please refer to the documentation in the original MTBlogShares until I can write up something newer while I start adding features in the coming weeks.

You rock ! Thanks so much !

Hey David, just checking out the new look finally.. and it's looking very nice. Enjoy the cleanness of it all.

OT: (please forgive my off-topicness)

Hey Dave, I saw this and thought of you. This is totally right up your alley:

http://www.cthulhulives.org/toybox/PROPDOCS/PropFonts.html

It's a font and prop-collection (in pdf form) of stuff for Call of Cthulhu. Like it has some neat fonts, but it also has id-cards, bank-books, passports, replica train/plain/zeppelin tickets, stock certificates and other stuff you can print out and use in CoC as props. On CD.

Salut!

This is to call your attention, David, that since 13 hours ago, I have noticed that BlogShares details on my blog did not changed nor updated based on actual BS latest figures. I made lots of transactions and when I browsed my site, its figures did not tally with BS...

Please find time to check on this. Many thanks!

I'll be looking into that non-update problem, most of the RSS feeds are now being cached, but any feeds related to a user or a single blogs' info should not.

Otherwise, great plugin - would you mind if I used it as a base for a PHP version? I know a guy did one before, but I'd like to do a fresh one that pulls from the RSS, plus Perl & PHP are related, so it shouldn't be hard. :)

Hmm, just did a test, and it did update properly. Will continune analysing from our end tomorrow, just in case.

Making a suggestion to re-enable parts of the API, BTW, which would make your life easier and in some ways reduce the load on the server... at least that's the hope.

See you in #blogshares.

Nice. Wonder if they still have the API working to pull individual ideas held by user..

Yay! Finally got the MTBlogshares plugin working on my blog with no errors. Maybe the upgrade to 2.661 did it. :)
